This past Saturday I was asked if I think homeowners will be scared to sell post covid-19.
A survey was recently conducted by OneRoof and almost half the respondents said they will continue to buy or sell during 2020. That said, the majority of those that answered the survey thought house prices will be affected.
OneRoof editor Owen Vaughan says that the survey shows Covid-19 has affected Kiwis’ perception of the market, but it hasn’t impacted their plans yet.

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
