Photo competition winner captures raw reality of homelessness in Auckland
Beach Haven resident Neil Ihaia recently took out first place in the Auckland Photo Day competition held by the Auckland Festival of Photography with his photo 'Sleeping With My Mate'. The judges described the photographed woman's situation as "raw and compelling" and praised Ihaia for documenting "a powerful, moving moment of love and care".
