NOMINATE YOUR ZERO WASTE HERO

Zero Waste Awards

From food to fabric, construction waste to the circular economy, and everything in between, the 2022 Tāmaki Makaurau Zero Waste Awards celebrate the mahi of those working to reduce waste to landfill across our city.

Nominations are now open until 31 August, so if you know of an unsung hero/es who should be celebrated, nominate them at ecomatters.org.nz/zerowasteawards.

EcoMatters Environment Trust is organising the 2022 awards with support from Uru Whakaaro, and in partnership with Auckland Council, as part of its aspirational goal for Tāmaki Makaurau to be zero waste by 2040.

Poll: Should all neighbours have to contribute to improvements?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

When thinking about fences, driveways or tree felling, for example, do you think all neighbours should have to pay if the improvements directly benefit them?
