Fundraiser Seedling Liberation Event
Saturday 18 May 9.00 am – 12.00 noon

Did you miss the big seedlings sale at Ngataringa Organic Garden (4/27 Lake Road, Devonport, opposite the Recycling Centre) last weekend? Good news, we still have a lot of seedlings looking for a new home, all ready for planting out into your beds or containers. As a local community garden we would love your support and know you’ll care for these seedlings as much as we have 💚🌱

We have lots of varieties available, including the super healthy kales, peas, cauliflower, a variety of onions, lettuces, celery, spinach, silverbeet, and so many more. These are all ready to pop into a bed or container so you can get those organic winter veggies rolling for the whānau. These seedlings have been sown in sterilised recycled punnets using organic seeds and mixes to the extent possible. Six-pack punnets often contain 10-12 plants and the suggested koha is $3-$5 per punnet.

Naturally, you want to share this journey with your beloved furry companion, and at Ryman, you are welcome to bring your pet along, provided they are suitable for the village environment.

Once your pet is approved for the village, the focus shifts to ensuring a smooth transition for them. Dogs and cats, being creatures of habit, may find relocating stressful. However, with patience and a thoughtful approach, we can mitigate their anxiety and help them settle into their new surroundings seamlessly.
