Northcross is closed for urgent care matters

The Team from

Wow, what a crazy couple of weeks our team have had.

If you haven't heard, Northcross has been transformed into a COVID-19 testing centre and is currently closed for all urgent care matters.
Smales Farm remains open 24/7 should you need us.

Our amazing staff worked extremely long hours to get the CBAC (community based assessment centre) up and running and we are proud to say that it is now working like a well oiled machine.

Please note that we are by appointment only.
You must phone ahead on (021) 256 6321 so that our nurses can triage you and book you a time to come and see us.
This is for your safety and ours and also means that you won't have to sit in a queue of people in cars for hours.
If you arrive without an appointment you will be turned away by security.
I know it may be frustrating if you can't get through to us on the phones straight away but please keep trying.
We have been inundated with calls and we can only answer so many at one time.
When you arrive for your appointment DO NOT LEAVE YOUR CAR. Our staff will come to you in full PPE gear to perform the test.

As we head into our third week of being a CBAC (community based assessment centre) we thought we'd share a few figures on our patient numbers from our clinic at Northcross.

Keep safe everyone and thanks for your patience!

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
