Restaurant Month is back for another year, set to bolster the Auckland culinary scene by offering discounted dishes and unique events for the entire month of August.
Gastronomes can expect 31 days of specially curated menus at the value-for-money price points of $25, $40 or $55+.
Restaurants included span those from the waterfront to the CBD, and from stalwarts such as Euro, Botswana Butchery and Odettes Eatery, to the newcomers and the underdogs.
Viv Beck, Heart of the City chief executive, said this year’s lineup is “more world-class than ever” thanks to the “inspiring lineup of chefs”, some of whom have recently returned to Auckland from stints overseas.

The competition will see amateur aviators design, build and then fly contraptions in a bid to be crowned winner.
The thousands of people set to descend upon Wynyard Quarter to see the event are likely to keep business booming for local hospitality hotspots.

To remedy the problem he lent me a set of standard wheels to pass the wof. After it passed I explained that the inspectors calculations where wrong his response thanks for letting me know. Don't go to vtnz Albany but anything to do with tyres definitely go and see the 2 guys at Browns Bay tyres.

I was wondering whether you've ever got a high water bill and you were certain that consumption didn't happen. What have you done in that case?
Our 3 people family average waterconsumption is about 250liters/day, for the May-June period we've got a bill for 2500liters/day!!!!! $377! We've checked the metre is read correctly, and there is no current waterleak.
The metre is 40 years old. And we were shocked to see that bill, while knowing we were at home with no changes whatsoever in our consumption. We were not watering anything...
