Celebrating the BSA Bantam
Opening 7 November and closing 28 November 2025, The Coach House Museum will be celebrating the BSA Bantam.
The BSA (Birmingham Small Arms) Bantam is a two-stroke unit construction motorcycle that was produced by the Birmingham Small Arms Company from 1948 until 1971. Exact production figures are unknown, but it was between 350,000 and 500,000.
In part, our BSA Bantam display is to honour Joy McKean. McKean, born and raised in Rangiwahia, was a well-known midwife who rode a Bantam around the world in the 1950s.
The Coach House is located at 121-127 South Street, Feilding and is open from 10am to 4pm every day. Entry is $15 per adult, $6 per child, with family passes available.
