NEWS from the FEILDING REPAIR CAFE team - next event is this coming Saturday Oct 19 and, with Janet our book mender and David and Irene on sewing machine fixing, it looks as if we have a full team on board for our final event for 2024. So 10am - noon at the Senor Hub at 14 Bowen St.
ON another note FEILDING now has 3 drop off points to recycle empty medicine blister packs - Feilding and District Art Society and the Coach House Museum in South St have joined the Manawatū District Council. A huge thank you these community organisations trying to reduce waste.

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
