All welcome at Ashburton public forum
Members of the Ashburton community are invited to attend a forum tomorrow where public safety will be the topic of conversation.
The forum, which is a joint initiative between Ashburton District Council, Police, Safer Ashburton District and Hotel Ashburton, will take place at the hotel tomorrow [Saturday 15 September] from 4-6pm. Anyone is welcome to attend.
The forum will see open discussion about the things that matter to the people of Ashburton, such as youth crime, alcohol and drugs, suicide, and road safety. The forum is an opportunity to talk about any issues of concern, and will also allow for discussion on the Safe Communities Accreditation that the town is working towards.
