Ice and snow puts Canterbury drivers on alert

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

Canterbury drivers, in the alpine areas and the lower half of the island should be on the lookout for black ice and slippery conditions as a cold front sweeps up the country today, says the NZ Transport Agency’s Network Operations Manager Tresca Forrester.

Stay up-to-date:
- The key traffic and travel source which provides up-to-date information on weather and road conditions is NZTA website.

- Important information is also shared via the Transport Agency’s accounts listed here.

- Drivers can also call 0800 4 HIGHWAYS (0800 44 44 49) to speak to the call centre team who can provide them with traffic and travel information either before they’re travelling or when they’re on the road.

Response to regifting presents

Gordon from Halswell

My mind tends to wander:
I do not see any problem with regifting it back to the person who gave it, they obviously liked it. In fact, that might work out well as you buy the present you want, then gift it to someone you know who will gift it back.
Perfect, no decision needs to be made about Xmas presents
