A tanker containing around 30,0000 litres of drinking water is on its way to Birdlings Flat. 185 residents in the settlement usually have their water supplied by a bore, but it shut off yesterday. The Council is working to fix the bore but in the meantime it is trucking in water to residents so they can continue taking water from the tap.
