Youth Search and Rescue Tauranga

We area volunteer organisation training Bay of Plenty youth (14-18 year old's) in search and rescue techniques, water safety, first aid, leadership and many other skills they will use their whole lives in their community. These students are shown how valuable and rewarding volunteering and helping others is. The Bay of Plenty has alot of outdoor recreation both at sea and on the land where the skill's these youth learn will be put to good use. In the last 12 months, how has Youth Search and Rescue Trust Tauranga made a difference, specifically in the  Bay of Plenty. Training youth (600 hours per year) keeps them busy and on the right track, teaching them to help others in their community at the same time. As part of the training they Volunteer to marshal on the breast cancer night walk, and sports events such as the goat race. As well as that they have been known to help out in emergency situation's and injuries they come across as they know what to do. Help us to our train our young people to help you
