Whareora is a Community House, close to Barrington Mall and the Medical Centre. We have an Opportunity Shop and offer a range of Activities including Cards, Craft and Movie Groups, Monthly Community Lunch, Bus Trips and a Book and Puzzle Library.
Our Opportunity Shop (Clothes and Accessories) is open Monday to Friday from 10.00am-1pm. From 1 October 2022, we will also be open on Saturday mornings from 10.00am-1pm. We are grateful for your donations, but please note that we are unable to accept household items or electrical goods.
Room to Hire - we have a warm, comfortable lounge room available for hire at an affordable rate. It has access to a kitchen, and tables and chairs. This would suit coffee circles; friendship, craft, games and book groups; small choirs; and meetings etc.
The Office is attended on Tuesday-Thursday from 10.00am-1pm.
