We all have things we're very good at. And we all need others' expertise at times. Why not trade an hour of what you do well for an hour of skilled help? In a Time Bank, everyone's time is equal, no matter what type of work is done. Credits earned when you give your time can "buy" someone else's service. Time Bank communities throughout New Zealand enjoy more hours of sunshine, as anonymous strangers are transformed into friendly neighbours.
The Wairarapa TimeBank has over 35 members, a website, a facebook page, a Kiwi Bank account, a Gmail account, a logo and currently use Community Weaver 3 online software to share offerings, wants, contact details and track the time dollar exchanges.
