Te Whare Koha is a place to: Meet, share ideas and support each other Organize activities, support groups and education Develop solutions for community issues Learn new skills and share the skills and experience you have Access resources and experience to support your ideas Improve access to health and social services Share what's happening in our community and how we can improve things Develop initiatives that build our health and well being Volunteer your support and gain work experience within the community Answer your questions Be active in your community We have a Koha Shop (FREE Food and second hand items) that is open on a Mon - Friday 9.30 am-12.30 pm. A koha is welcome but not essential. We collect kai from Just Zilch weekly and occasionally from Methodist Social Services (Food Bank) and offer it here for those who do not have accessible transport to get themselves to Just Zilch.
