TUMG is an urban farm that aims to grow food in a way that connects local people to their food supply, supports biodiversity, and combats climate change. We are different from a community garden because we are a space for people to be employed, and to learn about growing food in a way that is productive enough to provide income for farmers. We want to provide as much local food as possible and also build and share skills with our community in a safe and welcoming environment. We produce weekly vegetable boxes for our subscribers, who pay on a monthly basis to support our farm project. We also currently donate our extra produce to EveryBody Eats, the Glen Innes Family Centre and the Faith Family Community.
