Community Organisation
RSA is a National organisation for former war/conflict veterans, casualties and their families. They provide welfare and support for their members, as well as running an active social programme. Our branch meets every Thursday at the Village Inn at 5pm for a drink and chat. We recite the Remembrance Ode at 6pm. There are raffles and free bar snacks provided. We also meet for coffee mornings, usually on a Tuesday. We organise many other activities, in particular the Sumner ANZAC parade and service.
