Since May 2008, Southern Scribes has been a welcoming home for writers of all genres based in Southland. The eclectic group meets each fortnight to discuss writing in all its forms, with the main focus on fiction. Writing exercises, critique feedback, discussions on books and publishing, along with a hot cuppa and a biscuit are some of the things on offer once you join the group. Whether you are just starting out, wanting to write your family history, or in the process of penning the next bestseller, you are welcome to come along and see what the group is all about. We offer encouragement and support for all adults wanting to put pen to paper (or rather, fingers to keys.)
