South Titirangi Neighbourhood Network
South Titirangi Road Titirangi

Taking action to improve the wellbeing of people and nature in our neighbourhood.

We are a group of neighbours from several streets in South Titirangi focused on protecting and regenerating biodiversity in our spectacular native bush. We are groups of neighbours from Tinopai Road, Paturoa Road, Grendon Road, South Titirangi Road and Otitori Bay Road.

We offer free assistance with weed control and native re-planting in the Titirangi Peninsula. We hold monthly working bees on the last Sunday of every month.

Everyone is welcome to join us.

We want achieve the following through neighbours working together……...

- Specific invasive weed species are targeted across the South Titirangi Peninsula

- Public reserves (and waterways) are weed free and pollution free

- Effective predator and pest control is well co-ordinated. Bird counts are increased.

- STNN Communication channels build engagement of all ages from youth to elderly

- Neighbourhood rest and recreation areas are improved

- Neighbourhood safety and security is improved through social connection

- Neighbourhood activities are socially driven. Neighbourhood network engagement is increased through an annual event ( e.g Outdoor Film)
