The Dante Society is an international organisation established in Italy in 1889 with the aim of 'promoting Italian language and culture throughout the world and rekindling the spiritual connection between Italians living abroad and their homeland and nourishing among foreigners the love and culture for the Italian civilisation'. The Society's activities include: monthly meetings, courses of Italian language, CineDante and more, plus there is a monthly newsletter.
