It is a good backup venue if the Sunnynook Community Centre is booked up. It is also fairly robust, so suitable for things like preschool ball sports.
In the last few years we have put a lot of time and effort into improving the hall so it is now a lot tidier, safer and warm in winter.
You can check out the booking calendar and facility details at the Scout Group's website - sunnynook.org.nz

I would love to hear from anyone who was involved with the Sunnynook Scout Group since it started. It's our 40th birthday later this year and it would be good to get a copy of any memorabilia, photos etc that anyone has. I've got a pretty good idea about the last 4 years, have a copy of a booklet produced for the 25th Jubilee, and various newspaper articles, but there are a lot of gaps in our history that would be nice to fill.
Thanks a lot,
Darin Hutcheson
