10am: Opening ceremony and powhiri
10.30am: Community open day. Come and look inside, join in activities and games. On the village green, Counties Manukau Cricket is hosting games with with loads of prizes.
Where: Arion Road, Takanini -within the Takanini Shopping Village.

The Takanini Flooding Alleviation project will reduce flooding in flood-prone areas in Takanini, enabling more homes to be built.

Auckland Transport is advising people who usually travel by train to plan ahead and make alternative travel arrangements on Friday 8 December.
No trains will be operating from 2am on Friday until 2am on Saturday because of industrial action.
