Pablos supports people in Wellington who have had lived experience of mental ill  health. We support all ages of people who can use our free art studio and materials and mentoring from tutors to develop art skills; grow confidence; develop skills that will help them return to mainstream education and the workforce; assist them to become social with their community after isolation; become an independent artist if they wish; we help people to discover their abilities in a peaceful and non-judgemental environment. Pablos also run community workshops in Porirua with youth and at Kenepuru hospital; for Pathways in the Hutt and we take our artists out to connect with other groups around Wellington. Pablos Art Studio has supported many over 20 years, we hope to continue to help. Like many of our community we are struggling at times from funding cutbacks, but we hope to work more with others in our community to connect, find solutions and support each other to continue our community endeavours.
