The Northland Memorial Community Centre is the hub of the Northland suburb of Wellington and is host to activities for the young and old from rock 'n' dancing, to Mah Jong, badminton, scouts, cubs, after school care and more. The Centre comprises a large main hall (capacity 300 people, 21 meters by 14 meters) and stage with an office and toilets at ground level, and upstairs a meeting room (capacity 50 people) and kitchen. There is a smaller hall downstairs (capacity 57 people), with further toilets, a kitchen, various storage rooms and outdoor play area. Rooms are available to hire with discounts for regular users and not for profit community groups.
