A red Volvo saloon parked during the day at the Johnsonville railway station had its rear registration plate stolen. An attempt was made to steal a silver Nissan Skyline saloon which had been parked overnight. A rear window was smashed to gain access. Pieces were removed from the steering wheel area in an attempt to reach the ignition wiring. The attempt to steal was abandoned. Nothing reported stolen. A Ford Falcon saloon parked during the evening outside the Johnsonville Club had its left rear quarterlight window smashed. A bag containing appointment diaries was snatched from the back seat. A black Toyota Corolla stationwagon was stolen.
In Newlands A grey Volkswagen Golf stationwagon parked overnight on the street had a rear passenger window smashed. The vehicle was not entered. A grey Toyota Vitz hatchback parked midday was reported stolen. It was located shortly afterwards. A white Mitsubishi Outlander stationwagon parked unlocked overnight in the driveway of a house was entered. Nothing reported stolen. A grey Mitsubishi Triton utility vehicle parked unlocked during the night in the driveway of a house was entered and a wallet stolen. The wallet contained bank cards which were fraudulently used at petrol stations in the Porirua area. A green Toyota Hilux Ute parked overnight in the driveway of a house was entered although no sign of force used. A USB charger with a phone charger plugged in, a Navman radar detection device and a $100 gift voucher were stolen. A silver Toyota corolla stationwagon parked on the street overnight had a left rear window smashed. A boom speaker was stolen by reaching in through the broken window.
In Khandallah access to a house was made via a smashed glass panel in a door. The victim’s bedroom was targeted and a quantity of high value jewellery was stolen. A water blaster was stolen from an open garage.
In Churton Park an activated alarm caused neighbours to phone the owner of a house who promptly returned home. Access to the house was through a smashed window in a back door. Stolen items included an Apple Macbook, charger and keyboard, a Bose speaker and charger, a Microsoft Surface Pro and charger. A green Mitsubishi Lancer stationwagon parked overnight was entered via a smashed left rear quarterlight window. The vehicle was entered and attempts were made to start it by tampering with the ignition. The attempt was abandoned. Nothing reported stolen.
In Karori a white BMW saloon parked on the verge had its registration plates stolen. These plates were later used on another vehicle which was involved in an incident.
In Wilton a black Toyota Rav4 stationwagon parked overnight was entered, possibly through insecure mechanism on a passenger door lock. Clothing items, swimming togs, alcohol and keys were stolen. A refrigerated trailer containing cherries and parked locked overnight at Ian Galloway Park was broken into. The combination lock was cut off. Several crates of cherries were stolen.

Both were found open. A messy search was made in the property and a large screen TV and a door key were stolen. A white Toyota Vitz hatchback parked at the park and ride area at the Johnsonville railway station was broken into via a smashed rear window. Nothing was reported stolen.
In Newlands a white Nissan Caravan light van parked overnight was broken into through a smashed window. A number of specialised technical tools were stolen as well as a laptop computer. A red Nissan X-Tail stationwagon parked during the day on the grass verge in Middleton Road had its driver’s side window smashed to gain entry. A computer tablet was stolen. A courier delivered parcel was left on the doorstep of a house. The courier did not knock but sent a photo of the delivered package to the phone of the recipient who was at home at the time. By the time the phone was checked, an hour later, the parcel had been stolen.
In Khandallah access to a house was gained during the day by jemmying a rear kitchen window when the occupants were away. A search was focussed on a bedroom and some items are reported stolen. An Apple TV, an Ipad, an Ipod, headphones, several watches and perfume are listed as missing.
In Crofton Downs a house was entered during the day through an unlocked ranchslider door at the front of the house. An Ipad that had been left on charge was stolen.
In Karori a house was entered although there was no sign of forced entry. Some items of jewellery were stolen.
In Wadestown a red Ligero road bike parked locked during the night was stolen.

A white Toyota Raum hatchback parked overnight on the street had a right rear window smashed to gain entry. A GPS unit, sunglasses, a spot light, safety shoes and a small sum of cash were taken. A silver Nissan Wingroad stationwagon parked on the street overnight was damaged when an intruder smashed a rear quarterlight window. No entry gained and nothing stolen. A Toyota Camry drove into a service station in Johnsonville Road and pumped $20 worth of petrol. He left the car with the key in the ignition while he went to pay. He next saw his car as it was driven off from the pump area, heading North. The vehicle contained recently purchased groceries, a lawnmower and a weedeater.
In Newlands a silver Nissan Tiida saloon parked overnight had the left rear quarterlight window smashed to gain entry. The vehicle was searched but nothing reported stolen. A purple Mazda Demio hatchback parked overnight was broken into via a smashed left rear quarterlight window. A variety of games, cable and associated equipment were stolen. A white Nissan Xtrail stationwagon parked in a carport overnight was entered and an Ipad, a sports bag and an Australian passport were stolen. A black Tapo moped broke down in the vicinity of Middleton Road and Willowbank Road. The owner went to get more oil and when he returned he noticed that someone had stolen his helmet. He later returned with a new helmet but this time found the Moped had also been stolen.
In Ngaio a black Audi Quattro station wagon parked briefly on the road during the late morning was stolen. The driver had accidentally left the key on the seat of the vehicle. A resident was surprised to find an unknown female wandering around their back garden at midday. The excuse given was that the intruder was a babysitter and she was playing hide and seek with a child. To reach the rear garden it would have been necessary to enter through the front garden and pass the house. The child being “minded” was not seen and the intruder was told to leave.
In Churton Park an Ipad Pro was stolen from a table just inside the front door. The door had been left open for the owners children to run inside, which they did and did not close the door.
In Karori a silver Nissan Dualis hatchback parked unlocked overnight within the property of a house was entered and a sum of cash, a pair of shoes and a passport were stolen.
In Wadestown a white BMW hatchback parked overnight on the road was broken into via a smashed front passenger window. A radar detector was stolen.
In Wilton a vacant house under renovation was entered through an open front door, but no sign of force having been used. Tools and paint were stolen. The locked door of a detached garage at a house was forced open and a red Honda CRF405X bike was stolen.
In Ngauranga a Europodium heavy trailer (30m long) was parked secure overnight in a commercial parking area. Intruders broke into it by removing the securing ratchets and lifting the covering PVC cover. They found the trailer empty but then broke into an unlocked metal tool box that was welded on to the trailer and removed some heavy duty tools.
In Kaiwharawhara a blue Subaru stationwagon parked overnight on the road was stolen.

The lock on the driver’s side door was badly damaged but no entry gained. A white Mercedes Benz Sprinter light van (wheelchair vehicle) also parked overnight was entered and a Macbook computer, a Mobility card, a bag and a university ID and the garage door opener were stolen. A blue Nissan Tida hatchback parked locked during the night within the property of a house was entered. Two hooded men were seen by the occupants of the house in the act of searching the vehicle. The intruders were chased off. A small sum in cash was stolen. A black Toyota Wish stationwagon parked unlocked overnight in the driveway of a house was entered and two children’s seats were stolen. The glass in the front door of a house was smashed during the day to gain access into the property which was given an untidy search. Two TVs, two Play Stations, some jewellery items, a wifi modem, a quantity of shoes and two boxes of alcohol were stolen. A blue Daihatsu Charade saloon parked locked on the road overnight was stolen. A silver Toyota Starlet hatchback parked overnight was broken into via a smashed left rear quarterlight window. A messy search was made but it is not yet known if anything was stolen. A green Nissan Sylphy saloon parked overnight was entered through a smashed left rear quarterlight window. Nothing has been reported stolen. A white Toyota Corolla saloon parked overnight had its left rear quarterlight window smashed to gain entry. Nothing has been reported stolen. A green Honda Civic saloon parked during the night had its left rear quarterlight window smashed. Nothing reported stolen.
In Newlands a silver Ford Focus hatchback parked on the street overnight was broken into when a brick was used to smash the driver’s door window. A key was stolen. A white Isuzu utility vehicle parked overnight was broken into and a socket set was stolen from within the canopy. A white Nissan Primera saloon parked during the night was entered through a smashed left rear quarterlight window. An electric heater and a bag were stolen. A flat under renovation was entered, probably by using a key hidden for use by tradesmen working at the site. Kitchen equipment including an oven and various tools used by tradesmen were stolen.
In Wadestown a black Subaru stationwagon parked locked overnight in the driveway of a house was found next day propped up and the two front wheels missing.
In Highbury a grey Trayla trailer parked on the street overnight was stolen. A white Nissan Maxima saloon parked overnight in a car port, possibly unlocked, at a house was entered. A spare tyre was taken from the boot and a pocket knife and some small change taken from the glove box.
In Northland a black Roma moped fitted with a steering lock and parked during the day within a property was stolen.

No entry gained and nothing stolen. The garage under a house was entered through an open door and a mountain bike and helmet were stolen. A silver Toyota Corolla hatchback parked during the day was broken into via a smashed right rear quarterlight window. The vehicle was given a messy search but nothing reported stolen. A blue Toyota Vitz hatchback had its left rear quarterlight window smashed to gain entry. The vehicle was given a rummage search but nothing stolen. A silver BMW Touring stationwagon had its left rear quarterlight window smashed while parked during the day at the rear of a shop in Johnsonville. No entry gained. A grey Mazda Demio hatchback parked during the day in the railway station car park had its right rear quarterlight window smashed to gain entry. Earphones and sports items were stolen. A purple Mazda Verisa hatchback parked during the night had its left rear quarterlight window smashed. The vehicle was entered and search but nothing reported stolen. The wooden back door of a shop in Johnsonville was damaged when an attempt was made to force it open. No entry gained.
In Newlands a blue Mazda Axela hatchback parked locked overnight was found by the owner to be supported by two jacks. The two rear wheels had been stolen. The bathroom window of a property was forced open to give access into the house. A TV, a PS4 with cords and controllers, an Xbox and controller, children’s clothing and a not yet connected security camera were stolen. Five garden ornaments were stolen from a garden. A smashed right rear quarterlight window gave access to a black Mazda Premacy stationwagon parked overnight. Sunglasses and a pipe wrench were stolen. A white Mitsubishi Lancer stationwagon parked up had its right rear quarterlight window smashed, no entry gained.
In Khandallah a house was broken into. Access was gained by smashing a lead light window in the front door and reaching through to unlock the door. The alarm had been set before the owner left the house but the security company monitoring the alarm has not reported any break in. Two bedrooms were given a messy search with jewellery targeted. An inventory of family jewellery is being made. A Suzuki motorbike, parked on the front porch of a house was stolen. The kitchen window of a house was smashed during the night which the occupants were in bed. They investigated but no entry gained. The garage of a house was broken into when offenders cut the securing padlock. Items in the garage were moved around but nothing seems to have been taken. A house under renovation was entered but no sign of force having been used. Multiple boxes of tools were stolen.
In Ngaio a silver Audi stationwagon parked in the driveway and close to the house was stolen. It was located by Police in Cannons Creek, Porirua.
In Churton Park a silver Mitsubishi Lancer saloon parked during the morning outside a house was entered via a smashed left rear quarterlight window. A wallet containing a bank card, a restricted driving licence, a student ID and a community service card was stolen. A white BMW stationwagon parked overnight was broken into through a left rear quarterlight window. Sun glasses and a vehicle log book were stolen. A white Mitsubishi Galant saloon was entered through a smashed left rear quarterlight window. Nothing appears to be missing but the vehicle will not start now. A silver Mitsubishi Lancer saloon parked overnight on the street had both quarterlight windows damaged in gaining access. A wallet containing a driver’s licence, and bank and loyalty cards was stolen. The wallet was found at Churton Park School but the bank card and drivers licence are still missing. A green Toyota Starlet saloon parked overnight on the street was entered through a smashed passenger side window. Nothing was stolen but an attempt was made to steal the battery which was found flat. A silver Suzuki Alto hatchback parked on the street overnight was entered through a smashed left rear quarterlight window. The vehicle was searched and the ignition tampered with in an attempt to start it. Another vehicle alongside it, a silver Suzuki Aqua hatchback, also owned by the same person, was given similar treatment but the attempt to steal both vehicles was abandoned. A water reservoir room in Prestwich Drive was broken into. The door lock was cut off and the metal door forced inward. A vehicle battery was stolen.
In Wadestown a silver Mazda Atenza stationwagon parked on the road overnight was entered when a previously smashed and taped up window was opened up to gain entry. Nothing reported stolen. A garage door had been prised open. The victim is assessing possible stolen items.
