Intermediate and above classes are from 7.10pm to 8.30pm. We practice twice per week on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The first class of the year begins Tuesday, February 7, 2017. Come along and try a week for free to see if you like it. Fees are $150 per semester per person Family rates: $150 per semester for the first family member and $75 for each additional family member Karate is for everyone; For children it keeps participants physically active and instills a sense of achievement following progression through the belts. For adults, karate is a full body workout that uses every muscle group in your body. Stamina, muscle tone, flexibility, balance and strength will all improve as a result of practicing karate. As with all exercise, practicing karate improves your mood. Performing martial arts relieves stress by releasing endorphins which remain active in your body for up to four hours after exercise. The 5 guiding principles of Shotokan Karate are: • Seek perfection of character • Be Faithful • Endeavour • Respect others • Refrain from violent behaviour
