Keen to Support and Save the well-used and well-loved Wadestown Community Centre from WCC sale?
TVNZ Breakfast show cameras are visiting the Wadestown Community Centre (46 Pitt St) between 8am and 8:30am on Tues 5th March for a live chat with the Musicbox Academy music group, Community Centre users and local residents. The live cross to us is likely to be about 8am.
WCC intends to sell the Wadestown Community Centre building and spend the money elsewhere, despite agreeing in 2021 for any sale money to stay in Wadestown to build a new Community Centre in future. Is your Community Centre next in the WCC Fire-sale?

March 2022 Wadestown Fair is... as we was probably expected but now official - Event Cancelled. Fingers crossed Covid is on the way out by 2023. Take care everyone.
