The Hannah Playhouse provides a service to the performing arts community of the whole of NZ, in that she keeps safe the spirits of past lives that have created, and indeed appreciated, within her walls. She is a gatekeeper and her scars deserve a bow. They were earnt over years of use for intended purpose. Not many buildings can say that. I honour her mantel's continued presence in Wellington. She is a real theatre that is still one of our "Cathedrals of Honour to Humanity" in all its reflective expression. She is lucky to have a group of people currently looking after her who uphold her Mana and devote themselves to her care with passion.
