Hagar New Zealand

Community Organisation

Hagar works with women and children survivors of extreme human rights abuse due to human trafficking, sexual exploitation and gender based violence. For rescued survivors, we provide long-term, in-depth recovery services including legal assistance, counselling, ongoing support, healthcare, safe accommodation, schools, job training and employment. Our work is based in Afghanistan, Cambodia, and Viet Nam. Our secondary focus is advocacy and awareness raising of exploitation of workers in NZ.
