EASTERN BAYS TOY LIBRARY is a registered charity run by a volunteer committee of local mums and a paid librarian. We are a member of the Toy Library Federation of New Zealand.  

Our toy library:-

• has an extensive range of fun and educational toys for children aged 9 months to 5 years – learn through play!
• offers term and annual membership options (duty & non duty) – no additional charge for renting toys.
• is open Wednesday and Saturday 8.30am-12pm during school terms.
• is open to families, Porse Educators and Grandparents with children in the Eastern Bays area.

As a member you will enjoy access to nearly 1,000 toys of leading brands for children from infants to 5 years old. We add new toys to the library (and retire the old) to ensure our toys are in great condition, including:

• ride-ons, trikes and scooters,

• outdoor toys like water tables, slides, sporting equipment and even a roller coaster,

• lego and duplo, Thomas train sets, puzzles and games, trucks and cars,

• fancy dress costumes, dolls houses, castles, pirate ships and kitchens,

• marble runs, magnetic tiles, musical instruments and baby toys.

You don’t have to worry about payment every time you visit – it’s just a one-off membership fee which contributes toward operations and maintenance. Please contact us or drop in during our opening hours for more information.
