The Compost Collective provides support for composting and gardening at home and through community organisations. The Compost Collective website (www.compostcollective.org.nz) is the Compost Collective’s hub. Aucklanders can use the site to access courses, discounts, facilitators, online learning, educational resources, forums, Facebook, Twitter and find out what is happening in their neighbourhood. Free introductory courses run throughout the year. There is also a programme of specialist events and speakers who address a wider range of topics. Compost Facilitators are available to provide free face to face support. Facilitators can be contacted directly to request advice, resources, a visit, workshops, other events, or practical support in the garden. Each of the facilitators works with a specific ethnic or local community.
