It’s that time of the year when many people – especially tertiary education students – are looking for a flat.
Sacha speaks with Breakfast about what to check before signing a tenancy agreement, the difference between fixed term and periodic tenancies, and where to get information about your rights as a tenant (the CAB being a key source of information for this!).
For more information about tenancy issues and your legal rights and responsibilities, visit our website at www.cab.org.nz... or visit our tenancy-focused subsite at www.tenant.aratohu.nz... which provides support and guidance for tenants and their advocates.
