This means our staff will put in place alternative working arrangements and will be working from home. Our office will be closed from 3.00pm Tuesday 24th March 2020. Our staff will be in contact with you all regularly and will be available should you have any concerns or questions or need assistance. You can ring staff on 06) 345 8833 where you will hear a message with a phone number to contact the Manager or you can email: admin@alzheimerswhanganui.org.nz or manager@alzheimerswhanganui.org.nz. Phone lines are sketchy at present however we ask that you keep trying. This ALERT is in place for a period of 4 weeks when it will be reviewed.
With the safety of our staff, members, family/whanau, visitors and the wider community in mind, Alzheimers Whanganui has cancelled all our Group outings and gatherings for the next three weeks. We … View moreWith the safety of our staff, members, family/whanau, visitors and the wider community in mind, Alzheimers Whanganui has cancelled all our Group outings and gatherings for the next three weeks. We have not made this decision lightly and realise this may adversely impact our carers and clients. We will be in regular contact with all of our members and ask the community to make contact with any elderly in your neighbourhood to ensure they are safe.
