The society provides services/support to the community of Napier who are affected by Alzheimers/dementia/memory loss, supporting the person with dementia (PWD), their carers/family/whanau. One in three people in New Zealand are affected by someone who has Alzheimers/dementia and it takes approximately five pairs of hands to provide support to the PWD.
