The Devonport Cubs and Keas are run by a team of warranted leaders who have undergone training with Scouting NZ. We run an active and diverse program for both boys and girls and do bike trips, mini-hikes, local history walks, visits to Fire Stations and Rescue Helicopters; campcraft, cooking, knots, tents; creative pursuits, lots and lots of fun games. We encourage service in the local community and environmental conservation at Paddy’s Bush. Loads of FUN, LIFE SKILLS, Self Esteem, Strong Values. All leaders are volunteers and have First Aid training and are police vetted. We currently have spaces available for Keas and Cubs at 1st Devonport Scout group as follows: Keas: (school yr 1-3) on Monday 4.30pm to 5.30pm or Wednesday 4.00pm to 5.00pm Cubs (school yr 3-6) on Monday 6.00pm to 7.30pm or Wednesday 5.30pm to 7.00pm To register for a three trial visit, please phone 445 7810 or send an email to devonport.scouts@gmail.com
