New COMBAT fitness class

Barbs from Cambridge

Combat class is a workout that blends combat-inspired moves with dance and cardio, all set to loud, feel-good music đŸŽ¶đŸ’„
Here’s what it’s like:
Workout style: A mix of boxing, kickboxing, martial-arts strikes, and athletic footwork, combined with rhythmic dance-style movements.

Intensity: At your own pace & sweaty. You’ll throw punches, kicks, knees, and combos while constantly moving—great for cardio and calorie burn.
Equipment: Usually no contact and minimal equipment. Some classes use light gloves or glow sticks, but it’s mostly bodyweight.
Skill level: Beginner-friendly. Moves are simple and repeatable, so you can follow along even if you’ve never done combat training.
Benefits: Improves fitness, coordination, strength, stamina, and stress relief—plus it’s a massive mood boost.
Vibe: Empowering, fun, and a little fierce. You feel like you’re dancing and fighting at the same time.
