Lots for Tots - Saturday 9.30 -11.30 St Hildas hall Island Bay
LOTS FOR TOTS is on again tomorrow (Saturday). Open at 9.30, gather for music and songs at 10.15. Lots of toys including ride ons and table toys for children while the adults enjoy a cuppa, a chat, and a time to have fun with your young ones! Indoor and outdoor activities, with a special safe space for the very little ones. All Ages from 0 to 4 welcome. Cost is $5 per family.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
