Rototuna’s Fergus Bar and Kitchen has been struck four times since opening in February last year — twice in the past three weeks alone. One break-in saw alcohol taken from behind the bar and a “pretty big mess” left behind.

The dama wallaby, which had an immature joey in its pouch, was spotted in Frankton on March 3, reported and killed, Waikato Regional Council says.
