Playtime for toddlers and preschoolers is on again at 9.00 Tuesday in Island Bay
We are open again tomorrow (Tuesday) for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers from 9.00 to noon. Text your friends and meet up for a coffee at our place - 311 The Parade - where your child can enjoy a whole range of sensory experiences and activities.
We have added a new playpen for the little ones: we can even do a latte now - just ask!
We are right by the no 1 bus stop -easy to get to us.
We have things for all ages including indoor and outdoor play areas, a safe play pen area for babies, and ride-ons for older pre-schoolers. Drop in any time and let us know what you would like in our programme. All we ask is that you bring a smile, your child's requirements, and a koha for the heating and refreshment costs.

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
-
59.6% Yes, supporting people is important!
-
24.8% No, individuals should take responsibility
-
15.7% ... It is complicated
