The Tempests EP Launch at Hilltop

Anna from Kelburn

It's today! Sunday afternoon 2.30 for 3pm Music Start. Lynley Christoffersen and Jade Eru weave a vocal magic that can only come from years of singing together. They have lent their sweet soulful harmonies to many artists around Aotearoa, (including Wayne Mason, Darren Watson, Pip Paynes Gospel project) and are currently touring with The Fleetwood Mac Experience.
We celebrate the release of their original EP, The Tempests, which brings their vocal blend to the fore. They will be performing with their incredible band of musical maestros - Chris Armour and Rob Matthews, (guitars), Miklin Halstead (bass) and Richard te One (drums). Joined by their dear friend Hamish Graham (Hobnail, Shot band, Milkthistle & Love Shack) who opens their set with his lush and lively, beautifully crafted original songs.
Come along for the special House Concert vibe. Teas, coffee & snacks provided. Details re parking etc will be sent out with the email confirming your booking.

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
