Voices in the Wind - Join our choir
I am a singer with Voices in the Wind, a small but very good local choir looking for new members. As we’ve just finished our most recent concerts, now is the time to join us!
What I really appreciate is the variety in what we sing:
- from more simple three- or four-part songs, to larger eight part works.
- from pop-songs to pieces from Musicals and whole classical Mass settings
- pieces in English, as well as Italian, Latin, Spanish, French, Hebrew, German, and Te Reo
- music by local composers, classical composers, pop stars, and crooners
We practice 730-930pm Wednesday evenings at St Barnabas Mana.

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
