Can you save money on power by switching to another provider?
💡🔌According to research from Consumer NZ, the average household can save up to $500 a year by switching energy providers.
You can look at the deals offered by other providers servicing your area, to see if they could save you money on your power bills.
There are several businesses that offer comparison tools or services that allow you to compare your power bill against what other companies charge for the same types of plans.
Using information from a recent power bill will give you a more accurate comparison and idea of how much you might save.
It is worth using more than one comparison tool, because some do not include all the smaller energy providers.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
