Kōnae: My Records Guide – a new website
Two generations, one powerful story - a koro's experience of getting his records from when he lived in a children's home, told from the perspective of his moko.
Over the past year we have been working with survivors and people with lived experience to create Kōnae: My Records Guide – a new website for people seeking their records from times when the government, faith-based, or other organisations were responsible for their guardianship or care.
Visit the website now at konae.org.nz
We look forward to sharing more with you about Kōnae over the coming weeks.
Please like and share this video and spread the word about Kōnae.
