One Bedroom Flat for rent

Sandra from Taradale

We have a small flat for rent comprising kitchen/dining area, bedroom with small ensuite and attached to a large shared garage that is used predominantly for storage rather that cars. The flat is self contained with the basic requirements, queen bed, kitchen appliances and a shared freezer space in the garage. The flat is on the ground floor of a large home on Hospital Hill and has its own entrance and a dedicated carpark in front of the garage. Plenty of room to store your bike or other leisure equipment. This is a boarding situation as there is a tenancy in place for the whole property with a small working family. Please note they have one cat and one golden retriever. Board cost is $380 per week inclusive of electricity and broadband Internet. $300 bond. This flat is suitable for a single working person although we will consider a working couple. Available from 15th May 2025. Please email sandra@tematapeak.co.nz in the first instance. I will respond to your email promptly. Please supply a phone number so I can give you a call.

Powdery residue

Julie Neighbourly Lead from Havelock North

Is anyone else finding dishes coming out of their dishwasher with a powdery residue?
I washed them twice, no powder second time and they came out worse.
I put a dishwasher cleaner through 3 weeks ago.

Got more greens than you know what to do with? 🥦🌱🥕

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

Whether it’s a courgette takeover or a feijoa frenzy, don’t let those garden gems go to waste!

Our suggestion to you: Did you know you can grate and freeze excess courgettes to use in chocolate cake later? It sounds a bit dodgy, but it makes the cake incredibly moist ... and hey, it counts as a serving of veg, right? 🍫
