Football is back for 2025!

Nika Rikiriki from Blue Rovers Football Club

Football is back for 2025! Registrations for summer 5-aside are open with seniors kicking off on Monday 10th February, girls-only starting on Wednesday 12th February and juniors/youth kicking off on Monday 17th February. You can register here: bluerovers.co.nz...

The development programme is also resuming in February. We had an incredible response from the community last year, with 1 out of 3 of our 2023 juniors and youth deciding they wanted to accelerate their football and opt-in to the programme. If you'd like to join in 2025, returning and new players can register your interest here: bluerovers.co.nz... If you'd like to know more you can visit the development page on our website and come along and see for your self and one of our try out sessions (bluerovers.co.nz...).

Poll: Are Kiwis allergic to “exuberance”? 🥝

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

In The Post’s opinion piece on the developments set to open across Aotearoa in 2026, John Coop suggests that, as a nation, we’re “allergic to exuberance.”

We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?

Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.
