COLAB and the Te Puke Kai Resilience group is looking for a group of locals that can support the Chaos Garden Project at Pukehina School. Tasks include keeping an eye on the produce and helping out with harvesting. This is a fantastic volunteer role for anyone with an interest in horticulture, community gardening, sustainability, food security and passing on knowledge 💚

Our suggestion to you: Did you know you can grate and freeze excess courgettes to use in chocolate cake later? It sounds a bit dodgy, but it makes the cake incredibly moist ... and hey, it counts as a serving of veg, right? 🍫
