⭐️ Vote and be in to win a $500 shopping spree at Wgtn Airport ⭐️

Cate from Island Bay

House of Science is a charitable trust that's on a mission to help every Kiwi kid become scientifically literate. Our Wellington branch is in the running for the Wellington Airport Regional Community Awards People's Choice Award, and we'd love your help to win - the prize would allow us to help us reach even more schools across Wellington, Porirua and the Kāpiti Coast, so Y1-8 tamariki can learn great science!

Please watch our video to see what we do (www.youtube.com...), and if you feel House of Science deserves your support, you can cast your vote for us here: www.surveymonkey.com...

Anyone from across the country can vote, up until 9am Mon 4 November. Every vote also goes in to win a $500 shopping spree at Wellington Airport!

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
