What do you think of this Peachgrove plan?

A brand new hotel and 167 homes will take the place of Hamilton’s last holiday park, changing the face of a busy Hamilton East spot.

The Peachgrove Mixed-Use Precinct plan by Hamilton Campground Ltd got the tick from a fast track panel 167 working days after it was lodged with the Environmental Protection Authority.

‘Simply irresponsible’: Wallaby likely kept as pet in Hamilton, regional council says

A wallaby spotted in Hamilton was probably kept as a pet, the regional council says - and that’s “simply irresponsible”.

The dama wallaby, which had an immature joey in its pouch, was spotted in Frankton on March 3, reported and killed, Waikato Regional Council says.
