CAN YOU HELP???
Can you help our group of ladies? We knit and crochet blankets, jumpers, hats, scarves, gloves and socks for people in Romania, Moldovia and the Ukraine. There is a desperate need for warm clothing and blankets in these desperately needy areas where war has stripped people of many of the basic needs we take for granted.. Our group is always needing more supplies as we work all year round – we can use up your odd balls or part-balls or even bigger quantities that can make a jumper. We have willing hands but are constantly needing fresh supplies of wool/acrylic. If you can help, we will be very grateful. ‘Simply irresponsible’: Wallaby likely kept as pet in Hamilton, regional council says
A wallaby spotted in Hamilton was probably kept as a pet, the regional council says - and that’s “simply irresponsible”.
The dama wallaby, which had an immature joey in its pouch, was spotted in Frankton on March 3, reported and killed, Waikato Regional Council says.
