Xmas Sale @ Craft Potters in Hope
Hi all, yes, Christmas is coming (too soon for my taste) and Craft Potters in Hope are having their annual big Xmas Sale again. The dates are Saturday & Sunday, 2. & 3. November, from 10 am to 4 pm at the club rooms at 202 Ranzau Road. Bring cash or EFTPOS, no credit cards. For those of you who've been before and for those who are looking for "The Ultimate Present", do pop in and check out the local craft!

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
